The Unwritten Rule!!!

Post by ewancurze »

Just finished a lovely holiday in the Scarborough area, however i made a silly schoolboy error  ........being a delivery postman myself i made the error of speaking to one of the local posties!! and got such a miserable contemptuous reply i was stunned into silence(not easy).I know every office has a few like this but most are decent people, so any on here from the Scarborough office who knows the idiot who was delivering on the cliff path up by the castle overlooking North bay on Thursday about 1ish? please pass the message on that lifes too short mate,CHEER UP.
Oh and if he wants to swap his round with my charming inner city council estate walk..... :Very Happy

P.S.
He probably didn't hear what i called him about 10mins later when i passed him again :whistle

I'm often approached by Fellow Posties who are escaping the Smog and Pollution of the City to visit my wonderful corner of the world OOH ARR! :Very Happy I don't mind those that are still in the job, they often ask, "Have you got any Vacancies in your Office?" :left: but those that left even a few years ago tend to wind me up a bit.

"2 O'Clock!...I used to be finished by 11 O'Clock...you're dragging your feet a bit aren't you lad...you want to get a move on! I normally say, "How long since you left Royal Mail?" Anything over 3 years and I just tell them they haven't go a clue about how this Business has changed since they left. "Have a word with your Local Postie and ask him how things are Mate" :Very Happy

That's a lapsing walk. It could be anybody. And we have council estates too but holidaymakers never see them. And why should they? One sink estate is pretty much like another.
Just spilt stain-remover down my shirt. Now how do I get that out?
