Advice needed guys - I owe RM £200!

i owed them almost a grand ,they wanted it paid back at £60 per week . i offered £5 and thats what i pay .as long as you offer them something you will be ok

Pay what you can afford get in and make an offer quick before they take it all off you in one hit. If it's £1 a week then it's £1 a week, if they don't like it they can take you to court and a judge can look at your circumstances then decide the same as you.

From an accident I had 4 years ago. Apparently I owe them £203.00. I did have an accident about 12 yrs ago and the solicitor payed RM before the gave me my cut - but this time they havent. I guess I kinda knew and just ignored it, or hoped they didnt realise - I dont know tbh

Thing is, were completely broke and live week to week. The guys wrote to me now twice, and I have to move on this before they get the DOM involved etc, and just take the lot 1 random week leaving is with no food. It says to contact them to arrange a payment method if I cant send a cheque straight away, which obviously I cant! Our mortage is £1600 a month, so we basically have no cash to do anything bar work, sleep, and housework!

Id struggle to offer £10 a week tbch.

Whats your take on it guys?

The very most they ask for is 10% of your gross basic but to be honest as long as you are making some attempt it shouldn't be a problem.
Offer a fiver a week and see how they take it but make sure first that you do owe them it.
Ask to see all the paperwork....

I had what RM called a rolling imprest as I get a company car with my job, where they gave me an advance of £250 to sit in my bank that I could pay for upfront travel expenses out of such as diesel and hotel bills, before claiming the money back at the end of each month through the normal T&S process.

RM then decided to scrap the imprest system last year and I had to pay the money back and pay for my business expenses out of my own pocket before claiming at back at the end of the month and at £88 a tank full for my car it hurts.

Anyway without straying too far into my issue, RM offered me 3 options to pay it back with the easiest one being £25 a month for 10 months so I think that a Postie offering £5 a week would be in line with what they expect of a management grade, the debt would be cleared within 10 months the same as mine will.
