update on dog situation while on sick threats by dom

I have been off work with anxiety over the dog bit incident and how the dom has been so helpful to me (NOT),

weeks back had a row with dom on the saturday after being back at work, because on the friday I cut off because of the way I was told to deliver mail while using the cycle,
Dom called me in the office sat and we had a disagreement, which really upset me, so I went home, caled the union guys up and they have been really helpful,

I went to the doctors on the monday and got signed off with anxiety and sent it in straightaway,
I also got in touch with RM security regarding the issue of where the standalone box had been situated,

Now I did not want any contact with work, but I have had 4 phone calls which went to answerphone, and two letters from my dom last one saying that if I made no contact I would be giving up my job and if they did not here from me in 4 days my money would be stopped,

Now I find the letter to be threatning, If I had not sent a doctors certificae in I would expect this .

So Rang the dom up , and we had a row regarding the dog issue, as the secrity folks said if i did not want to deliver to the house then to come off the walk, I have been on the walk for 5 yrs this part of the duty was added 8 wks ago , so as usual RM just do not seem to worry about health and safety, the union guys have been great and are abcking me up, but going back in on tuesday not looking forward to it.

22yrs done well will do in 3 weeks time if I make it to then, and you fill like you are worthless

It seems to me that the more years u have in, the more keen RM management are to get rid of u !
do yourself a favour and never enter into any talks / interviews with this guy without representation,
if u have a sicknote from your doctor i can't see how he can discipline u,
if u don't have 1, get one rapid, even if u return to work within a week and don't technically need one,
if it does go to disiplinary, u will have it in black and white from a qualified G.P. that u were unfit for work.

Shows what some dims are like. My stage was for a very serious condition. 5 months off, but it felt like they were saying I made it up and no none ever has anymore than a week off for this etc.

TBH this sort of thing has been happening in NI for years, if we don't 'stay in touch' we get our sick pay stopped, and that starts from the first letter (on the first day) and I can honestly say that the area reps are totally useless over it but the local reps are brilliant

Maybe next time any reps etc are arguing the toss with these muppets they could mention the recent case Royal Mail lost in a tribunal about them only applying their discrection in `exteme` circumstances.

the employer to comply with the minimum terms of that procedure:
