well moya has'nt been in touch, since I asked her about training for new delivery staff on account of my son starting in my office( she must be busy) well the update is that my son has been in twelve weeks now and in that time has done eleven different walks!!!! he is struggling to get it right big time, but the royal mail guidelines on training for delivery staff say, they should be given 13 weeks training, 6 of which should be on the same walk!!! fat chance, I have been out with him several times(after I have finished my duty) to help him on walks that he has been put on blind(never done before).... it really shames us all.

My DO was like that when i started but to be honest i was on pretty much a different walk everyday for about 5 months before i got my own walk. Its not right is it! To be fair they have now allocated some training walks but are mostly the office shockers and seem to be breaking newbies at alarming rate.

I wonder if Moya will actually reply? I would guess shes too busy writing positive P&L letters for the RM Courier and thinking of new ways to rob us blind!

I've only done 3 walks in my office... was on first for 2 months 2nd for 4 months then signed for my walk! I admit I was lucky have had people in the office for 4(?) years who are still on reserve!

I've had a reply bud, honestly. i sent in an email wanting to know why some managers are getting away with bullying, forcing overtime on some staff and just generally the way they behave. a guy replied saying "the team are very concerned and this is not acceptable within Royal Mail". he wants me to send him details of where i work and such. this was 2 ago, im just waiting for my dim to have one of his turns before i reply.......

Right, seeing as we all know that Ask Moya is a useless bit of window dressing should we show it up as such?

Maybe someone should create a Blog called 'Asked Moya' and record what has been written to her, if they received a reply and what, if anything, happened as a consequence?
