Just wondering... (Saturday related!)

Hi all, new here... Just wondering how many of you guys play football weekly on a Saturday and how you're gonna get around the 2.30-3pm finishes as I am trying to work out a way I can continue playing while retaining my job! I imagine there are a lot of people in the same boat right now and was curious as to what your opinions are!!

i thought pubs played in the week evenings and sundays except if you play for man city

I play another sport, but same boat. Haven't played at the standard I should be playing at because the games are played on Saturday afternoons and there are away games where we have to travel a fair bit. Which is why I'm looking for a new job so I can play again. Also, being a postie then getting home and training/playing matches is a killer. My knees will be gone.

No luck finding a new job though.

im kinda in the same boat but its for my young son, who wants to join the local team. trainings on a sat morning so unless i get a new job he cant go. i'm actually off today, my last sat off was about 10 months ago and its really hit home how nice it is to not work saturdays, it total bliss.......i actually might have a new job but the killer is its about 25 quid a week less than what im getting now (roughly take home 250 a week). is the weekly drop worth not working saturdays, as well as all the other crap we put up with.................................YES !!!

I switched to playing Sundays which i am quite gutted about
