Don't Have To Van share

Going through the revision just now and we have been told we don't have to do van share because it is'nt working in nearby offices, :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: Any other office been told the same?

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

no but we where told that we'd keep our singleton vans on the duties that already have them.

sorry to spoil the dream folks,but everyone is gettin shared vans.i said the same 10 months ago and were init now for the past 5 months.so dont believe anyone :Very Happy

hope we do van share in the future. when my finish time is up the other driver can drop me back off at the office,then he can go back out to complete the duty unless he wants to finish on time as well,what have RM let themselves in for ? :nana

yeah we were told some jobs wont have to van share as a lot of people dont get on now,,, i wonder why?

So what are they going to do with the stockpile of RM vans that have been sitting waiting at various sites around the country for the last couple of years and what about all the money spent on them and trying to make the revision work, with planners, managers travelling allowances ect, ect....

here's an idea, lets tell the workers that the collegue shares are worthless now

It's got f**k all to do with "getting on" or the size of the vans or whether it's working elsewhere.
There are no savings for RM in van share and trolley's so they are backtracking as fast as they can.

One question...If the CWU had came to you and said "We are increasing the delivery span to 4.5-5hrs without any way of easing the weight on delivery issues...would you have bought it or would you be calling them a bunch of no good sell-out bastards.

Isn't it obvious to their employers that RM top brass are incompetent?
The 3 year Business Transformation Agreement has gone tits up - why would anyone let them negotiate another one?
Don't they have to answer to anyone?
