Where has the union gone?

Anyone know what's happened to the union about the colleague shares. not long ago every member got a letter saying that action would be taken at the end of APRIL. so here were are heading for June and its all gone rather quite..Or does money talk...

Well at this very minute I would imagine they are in the bar padding out their expense account for the day.

I would imagine it's going something like "Put a whisky in the glass barman.............no no make it a double, I'm not paying"

easy to criticise , harder to do
Quite right silly, I don't think I could handle a double whisky.............I'd be OK with the paper work.

Anyone know where the union has gone on any topic. In our office the DIM does what he wants and the union reps have a pint with him later. We have no effective union.

Get rid of the rep at the next election,if you don't seem to have elections make some noise with your branch.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

We had our regional rep in today, spent nearly an hour in the DIMs office

They have asked Royal Mail for a full financial discloser i.e.: to see the books. Apparently RM are going to let them as they say they are “transparent” and the new business plan has used up all the money (£200m). :shock:

So I guess we will have to await the findings from the CWU accountants but as you already know we wont see a penny of it.

Bit like the Forrest Gump movie then. :left:

I'm going to try that one on with the bank when my mortgage is due.

Funnily enough the bailiff on my doorstep didn't approve of my business plan, but he was open to negotiation ( "Gimme that f*ckin' £700 tomorrow, or I come round & clean your flat out AND break your legs....that's my final offer, and I'll see you tomorrow, numbnuts" :angel )
