I've always wondered what RM charge for the delivery of D2D but have been unable to find out. I regularly see people on my walk doing d2d for private companies..... saves me doing it

Had none for the past 2 weeks and only 1 for next week.

Assume they paid half to the postie for delivering it (I know they paid less than that but for the example), they would have charged the customer £5010.00 and made £2505.00 clear profit

And the cost of the staff in the D2D bundling centres.
The cost of the staff chasing the contracts?
The cost of the transport?
The compensation when we fail to meet the contract?

1st little error, you state £2505 for 3 d2d & times that by 4 for 4 d2d.
2nd little error, Vast majority of FT only get £8 approx in reality for d2d in BT2010
Your figures have no base in facts, so therefore prove nothing

The only part he got right gb was that it didn't take a rocket scientist to work it out and for that i am grateful otherwise Neil Armstrong would still be sitting on the launch pad as the scientists wound the rubber band.

the truth is we are delivering more door to doors for less money I THANK THE UNION FOR THIS CRACKING DEAL well done we all have job security you top union officails . now they are cutting big time in mail centres so IT DIDNT GUARANTEE JOB SECURITY youve been sold down the river again and i would NEVER go on strike for you id rather go over a PICKET LINE than support the CWU

In truth i can handle 2-4 d2d's as long as the mail is not really heavy that week. Its when we get 5-6 that it becomes really hard work esp if you get a couple of bulky contracts like charity bags etc. Its a bloody draining feeling when you come back off a delivery on a fri only to see boxes of the stuff on your frame

Would i cross a picket line. Totally not as i have not done so in 24 years and iam not about to start now.
