Cutting Off

Been told my my DIM that I can't cut off....he keeps quoting the USO . We're doing the feckin p/l and it aint working....so what do I tell him.
been doing it a few weeks now its a right mess.
any help please

What's the USO got to do with you cutting off?
That's Royal Mail's obligation...it doesn't apply to you personally.
You cut off...they are obliged to deliver what you cut off....end of story.

Just say that you are not prepared to work over your time and also that it is illegal for him to insist that you do.

its not your fault,tell him you are not working over your time ,if you are working to a correct speed there is nothing he can do,i cut off most days,it costs me tax credits if i book docket.let him do a delivery like our three managers do every day.

Cut off, I do everyday... they wanted people to work to thier time so give them thier wish, and not a minute more!

better yet ask the DIM to put his request in writing as it is not official unless it is in black and white.if the idiot is stupid enough to do this then fire in a grievance straight away.you would have a field day.

We were told if we can't get round pull out undated and sometimes miss out a bundle so you show your face in every road.
But when our new duties come in (13th June) we must tell manager before we go out that we don't think we can get round in the time he cannot now tell us to pull out as this is a Royal Mail RULE and has been in place a long while i was told our union has always known this but never passed it on to us THE UNION you must not take any mail out what you can't deliver,you must leave it in the frame, but we can take it out until we get use to our new deliveries, so we can cut off and take back or tell them what mail is left out to be picked up (as i am on a cycle delivery) when you get back. MY START TIME IS DEAD ON 0700AM with 20 mins meal relief on the end of the duty MY FINISH TIME IS WHEN I WALK OUT OF THE DOOR AT 1428 PM mail delivered or not but as a customer i am not very happy about my delaid mail

If your not allowed to cut off why do they have a procedure to cope with just that:
