im looking to book the hotel at alton towers is there a discount code we get for being royal mail employees? any info would be great!

I used to have one when I worked for B&Q as they were part of the "bringme" discount scheme which is much better than the crap we currently get.

It was a few years ago, but the code we used was T70 which meant it was £70 B&B for the room... I doubt it works now though

TBH i bet you would get better AT codes just Googlin g it, my lads school has just handed vouchers out for adults £15 and kids £10 (noy inc vat). Also try AT.com or 0971 222 9901 for there office and see what they themselves have.

just called them for you and tried to get them to give me some codes for you based on the pamphlet i have, he says although he has a list of codes he cannot give them out. He suggested that the best deals would be on the web site and to keep scanning it.

always look on ebay people are always selling vouchers, seen some discount vouchers 50% for the hotel

I wouldn't bother with the hotel. I went there with the family a couple of years back. Awful food, very expensive and the extra hour theme park access you get for being a guest is pointless as none of the decent rides open until 10 when the general public are admitted. We found a lovely pub one evening for dinner, which also had a few comfortable B&B rooms. I wish I'd known about it before I booked the hotel.

Find somewhere local and drive in each day, much better.

Awful food, very expensive and the extra hour theme park access you get for being a guest is pointless as none of the decent rides open until 10 when the general public are admitted. I wish I could remember the name of the pub. All I do remember is it was just off the road that the entrance to Alton Towers is on. It may have also been directly next door to another pub.

The Bank House Hotel in Uttoxeter was very good a few years ago, not been there for a while though.

Don't venture far from the hotel though as the townsfolk of Uttoxeter don't take kindly to outsiders.

I can remember when the foot and mouth panic was on Alton towers had their farm animals slaughtered rather than close,they didnt have Foot and mouth,but hey ho whats a few animals when there's money to be made.
