If you check the downloads section you'll find the criteria and you should be able to work it out for yourself from that and your sickness absence.

Probably something to do with data protection as the operator could not verify your identity over the phone , you can apply in writing under the ‘subject access requests’ part of the data protection act.

Bollox, all you should need is your pay number (just like phoning the HMRC or DHSS you just need your id number for them to talk to you).

Thats the law sheff :sad: http://www.ico.gov.uk/for_organisations ... _data.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Can I charge a fee for dealing with a subject access request?
Yes, an organisation receiving a subject access request may charge a fee for dealing with it. If you choose to do this, you need not comply with the request until you have received the fee. The maximum fee you can charge is £10.

Same here BUT our manager won't give out any sick information either so everyones in the dark. Reckons if your sick your sick stage info is nether here nor there unless your doing a sickie! I do have SOME sympathy for RM as I've heard numerous people over the years say that there going sick as all there stages have lapsed!

I walked past the Royal Mail building in Pond Street, Sheffield recently - the most dismal looking 1960s office block you could find anywhere outside eastern Europe. :sad: :shock: :sad:
