So imagine five to ten years from now.All our feet, knees, ankles and hips are arthritic and buggered up because we have had our bikes taken from us and are using shared vans and trollies which has doubled our walking distances.Will we be able to claim heavy compensation from Royal Mail?They have suitable equipment to reduce our walking distances (bicycles) but choose not to let us use them.When I started the job I was asked if I could ride a bike in poor weather and carry up to 16 KGS OF MAIL.That was something I accepted this is not.I think its going to cost them dearly in the future with sick pay and court cases

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Id say bout 70 % in our office have bad health,knees ,shoulders ,joints, due to heavy workloads ,not enough boxes on streets etc . If this was america ,there d be some claims i thinks,,,,,
