Advised to take IHR .....

Hiya Guys .....
Have completed my six face to face counselling sessions,with a lcal ATOS registered counsellor.
Of course I have already completed my six telephone appointments,with ATOS.
Both my GP and counsellor have suggested me taking the IHR option,when and if.
My counsellor has sent her report off to Royal Mail,recommending that I amfar from being well enough to return to the work place.
And that she will be recommending that I go down the IHR road,to see a Royal Mail doctor,I guess.
My question being"How long does this process take"?
As the silence is bloody deafening :P

I knew a guy who had the meeting with manager, two days later he had left the busssiness. It came as a relief to him. You also get 34 weeks pay and luie of notice 9 to twelve weeks depending on service

A lot depends on how quickly you Manager gets your paperwork etc together. but the guidline is you should not really have to wait more than six weeks. Wait one week, and then keep badgering your Manager--- so many times in our office things have been delayed solely due to him not doing his job. Good luck in your retirement.

and your annual leave upto a maximum 53 weeks as you can carry 5 days leve over fom the year before
