I assume your talking about the difference between someone saying ive worked every office in EX (for example)
As opposed to every office in Devon which also has TQ ? i believe.
Bit pedantic?

Without wanting to advertise exactly where this fella works. :no no
Just looking at the map there are a
few counties that boundary wise as in governance/ constituency roughly match their main postcode .
Berkshire, oxford shire, Northampton, Hereford. to name a few.

I get your point that most counties like Hampshire are a minefield of postcodes and a reserve couldn't cover half of it
with there being probably 4 different area managers.
I'm a postman-and i know where you live.....

All Postcodes cover just one street or part of a street. :Very Happy
Postcode Areas however are most likely to cover full counties in rural areas, such as SY much of mid Wales and LL much of North Wales, and they will cover the whole of many of the new Unitary Authorities. :Very Happy

No, there's much more to Cheshire than Lawton Street, Congleton. :nana
