in our office we have duties that nave a driver and non driver
but the cover man is usually a driver too

In our resign prior to P & L, duties were paired up and if a non-driver signed for one pairing only a driver could sign for the other walk in the pairing.

Obviously this pissed off alot of people because despite the resign being done on seniority, some people couldn't sign for thier chosen walks unless they did the changeover to drive because a senior non-driver had got into the pairing first!

1 lad in our office refused to hand his driving licence in,becuase he was sick of being moved from his own cycle duty,i am thinking of doing the same,and i have been at our office longer than him,would anybody advice me to do this with park and loop coming up to an office near you,cant be doing with van checks etc,dont get paid anymore..

Well I was a non-driver and adamant I wanted to stay a non-driver..... but the only choice of walks left for non-drivers were complete poop so I did the changeover. Still ended up with a bad walk but not as bad as I would of had.

If you can put up with less of a choice then go for it!

I opted not to do driving dont wanna be lumbered with the extra hassle of van checks and such as mentioned before not to mention all the packets and SD's I'll do the extra loop thanks
