I'm on a temp contract and for the last 4 week's i have being moved to cover in other locations some as far as 15 miles from my home I know this is in my contract but have I any right's to stop my manager doing this to me and it's only me this is happening to . Also what are the responsibilities of the manager as regards to transport as i am often left to find my way home yesterday I walked for 2 hours to find a train station as i did not have a clue where i was .

That sounds crap, don't blame you for being hacked off.
Do you get any travelling expenses, we have area floaters that get paid a mileage allowance.
Maybe someone else can give more specific advice, I'm wary of doing so as I don't know much more TBH.

Ultimately, as you are on a temp contract, to a certain extent they have you by the balls
as they don't have to renew your contract.
All the same look into it at the very least.

It is the managers responsibility to get you there, pay for your travel and you start your hours from leaving your own delivery office, until you return.

It is the managers responsibility to get you there, pay for your travel and you start your hours from leaving your own delivery office, until you return.

I had my travel paid for that was not a problem but what peed me off was the fact that I had to make my my though a city I even got mugged off when I asked for a goole map print out . also would I be in my rights to claim OT for my large walk I have the ticket as proof of the extra 2 hours

Next time they move you to another office tell them fine...but you want them to make sure you are back at your parent D.O. for you finishing time.

Can RM send a full time postie who has a duty at her parent office to work at another office with only a minutes notice.
Also have other staff in on docket on that day....(at parent office)

Yes they can, reasonable request etc.

But they have to provide the travel etc, and have you back to your parent office for your finishing time.

Do you have a duty or are you a reserve? If you have a duty it's not acceptable - go to the union. If you are a reserve are you the least senior? If they need another office covering you can argue that it shouldnt be you if there are less senior reserves- whom could cover the other office

My take on this is if you have a duty you have signed for then R.M have to give you 28 days notice only.
