how long does it take for atos to respond?

I returned to work 3 weeks ago after being off with Osteoarthritus in my foot. My atos report did not say all it should have - just that I can do a 3 and a half hour delivery although it my take me longer than that. It missed out important information like the fact I cannot cope with excessive steps and inclines. I asked my manager on my first day back if he could get atos to phone me to rectify this. He said he would and 3 weeks of reminders and excuses later I am still waiting!!! How long does it take atos to respond? or is he just dragging it out so he can keep giving me jobs with plenty of steps on them?

i have had a simular problem and the only way i could get another ATOS referal was to go to my GP and get a sick note

I Would agree that your manager is probably taking the piss. Just because he says he has contacted ATOS does not mean he has. Do you have a contact number for whoeever saw you at ATOS contact them and get advice, or like BT2010 suggests pop in to your GP and advise him of the problems your having.

he will not want a report saying you can only do certain tasks as this will cause him problems. So he could be dragging his heels .

Contact Atos yourself and ask them if there has been any contact made by your dom , If not, contact your Area Dom and tell him that you are being denied access to Atos by your office dom. I was in the same situation and kept contacting atos on a weekly basis to find out if my manager had been in touch...kept a diary of all the calls i made and then contacted area manager with my complaint. Within 48 hrs i had a letter of apology and an immediate appointment with atos.

This is the call center booking line number who will be able to answer whether your manager has contacted them again or if your case has been closed. It would be useful to use the reference number at the top left of your Atos report if you have a copy available.

Sounds like your screw is making you suffer, when i was off ill i couldnt get away from them, pain in the arse. But they will phone when they say they will.
