UNPAID LEAVE IN THE LOTHIANS

Can anyone confirm that there now is no unpaid leave in the Lothian/UK area? according to my DOM the new area boss (Joss Fine/Vine ) has decreed this. I would like some advise before I go to the next level. Thanks

Like banging your head against a brick wall- he refused to let us carry our lieu days over into this years leave (I had 3) so I requested 2 unpaid days leave for April, in writing - this was done in Jan! He said it was ok as we have loaned a body out to another office an,d have employed another body. Then the week before I was due to have my leave he told me I couldnt have it and I had pay two of my colleagues to come in and work for me !!!! I would appreciate any help/advice in this matter

From the way forward agreement an extract and a link. He must give permission for over 5 days but the document quite clearly states that you don't even need to apply for 5 or less.

Also if you only have 4 weeks leave count up how many Public holidays you took and see if you reached the statutory minimum of 28 days - if not then contact area rep.

If you purchase leave then they owe you money so again contact your area rep.
