SE Lon had a reps meeting about our strike,we're looking for 18 strings to be taken away, stuff that has already been implemented and bits and bobs.
Branch meeting today with head honcho,no chance of a deal so strike is no doubt on.
Something interesting that came out of the reps meeting, the 1st meeting between DW&BH ect with :lfo :cfo was the 1st 2 hours was about them argueing who leaked the venue of the meeting to the press
Anyways summin that was talked about at the reps meeting was......................
If the talks were going ok then why did the PEC not STOP our strike this weekend!!'
Word is,although not official that the talks COULD be going nowhere and that us going out could buck things up.
TBH if the talks were going well, then it makes sense for our action to be suspended so for us not to rock the boat.
Carry on chewing

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
Seems mr J wanted to sue our area reps because of a leaflet that was posted to us.
Seems he even wanted to sue them so bad that he was prepared for them to lose their HOUSES if it came to it.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the attitude of area Managment in London!!
But we don't get mad we get f***ing even

13 days and counting till sept 4th :cfo Leighton doesn't care really because he is leaving early next year :lfo Can someone remind me of years gone past? Why did crozzy get a job as the highest paid civil servant in RM? Because he used to get slagged of by all the newspapers for his running of the FA. Think it's a case of not what you know but who you know.
I have heard that things have moved quite a way.
The bottom line is if there is no deal this business is under no illusions from us... we will bring it to its knees because we will have nothing to lose.
Both sides are more than aware that there cannot be a NO deal resolution that really is not an alternative.
Can someone please tell me something i wasnt expecting, how can you negotiate with people who have no long term future in RM but are only out to make sure they get a big bonus for themselves for implimenting job losses...UNITY IS STRENGTH.

-Latest word from a source is both sides are nowhere near to any agreement. Late Starts will be imposed as RMG has served notice. :lfo
