Increase in union dues..Partimers

I don't know about other offices but all the partimers in my office are know paying the same union dues as full timers..I think its an increase of about £1.11 a week can anybody explain this to me...Phoned payroll but they said its a union problem ..

Yeah mine went up to £3.21 or something got on the phone to cwu and cancelled, no way I am paying the same as full time I am on 32.5 hours, save an extra £14.00 a month.

I have to laugh any agreements the union make with royal mail regarding money then its always pro rate for part timers yet when it comes to union fees the union dont want a pro rata payment then. The only thing I can say is I guess part timer members get the same benefits as full time members.

Pro rata is a joke ie Door to Door payments..It really grinds my gears this pro rata crap...PS.Why ain't the union fighting for a better deal across the board for part timers instead of selling us down the river.. ..We get s**t on constantly..

Aside from the fact that no one gets paid for D2Ds anymore, the Delivery Supplement is paid fairly as its paid on all hours claimed up to 39/40 for everyone.

PTimers get the same hourly rate as FT get its just put down on the pay chit as a fixed amount based on their contract. However, if they do overtime, it has been proved on here, they do get extra payment to cover the Delivery Supplement up to 40/39 hours.

Po Rata on Bonuses/Colleague shares you may have a point but IMHO not on D2D/Del Supp.
