Staff breakdown at your delivery office

What is a typical staff break down at a delivery office i.e how many posties, sorter's, line manager's etc.

We have about 120 posties i reckon the amount of line managers varies from 3 like today to 6 during week no idea how many people work in sorting end of building.

Sorry but that's a "How long is a piece of string" question.

The amount and mix depends on the area, function, type of deliveries, length of deliveries, FT/PT mix, and mail profile of the office and even Union strength in some cases.

My office has about 60 staff per day

4 CSS Operators (Nights)

40(ish) full time staff - of these
about 20 on IPS/Packets for roughly 2.5 hours
12 double prepping (their own delivery and 1 sometimes 2 p/t deliveries
8 driving duties (mix of crew bus and factories
1 PHG in the locker
1 in the Callers Office
1 Admin Office
10- 15 p/t on either 25 or 30 hour contracts (prep/finish prep and go)

2/3/4 linos depending on the coffee machine
1 DOM (Not on a Saturday)

We struggle every day, cut offs, whole walks not delivered, packet backlogs every few weeks and let's not mention the number of staff now taking time off for stress, sick levels at an all time high. Neither management nor staff seem to give a toss these days.

eg there are 30in our office 6 are part timers
1 manager 1 packet office/locker

thats would about the limit of what i would share and what value does that info hold.
one office might cover 20 small villages... one other mostly town rounds.
All means little without knowledge of
population, mileages. demographic breakdown ie industrial v domestic, old v young & rich v poor.

There are no sorters who are not posties we all sort collectively first thing as the mail arrives
then after approx 90minutes we take the walk-sorted mail to our frames to sort to address.
about a third of our rounds are driving this varies hugely office to office.
A percentage of posties are pt some dont have their own rounds.
