HELP!

Ok, so long story short- I applied for the role of casual postman. I have my induction tomorrow. I sent of the contract that they sent me two of. Because of a significant problem with my e mail account I have not been able to see my emails. I finally got it sorted to see that I was meant to send off a P46 form that I was meant to print off to send with the contract. OF course I have already sent the contract of so i'm confused as what to do now as my induction is TOMORROW!

Just fill it in and send it off to HR
If they don't get it by friday you will pay what they used to call "emergency tax" but now call cumulative BR tax.

Q. My new employee hasn't completed the P46 I gave them, what do I do?
A. From 6 April 2008 if your new employee does not give you a completed form P46 before the first payday you must complete Section one on their behalf and deduct tax using a cumulative BR tax code.

Ok, thanks. But where do I actually send it because I can't remember the address of the pre paid envelope they gave me in which I was meant to put it. Sorry, it's just as I'm 17 this is my first proper job and I've never dealt with p46 etc before.

If you are a directly employed RM casual which it sounds like it will be...

If they moan they haven't recieved it in time just do what everybody else in the country does and say "oh I sent it off ages ago it must be stuck in the post!"
