A postie from Cornwall did not receive any letter or long service award from the management!!
For 50... yes I repeat 50 years service, he deserves a f***ing Medal!!

Guy at our office was retired on health grounds, they arranged a presentation for him the Monday after his last day... he didn't turn up !!

Really says a lot about the Company we work for! We've had Posties of 20 years plus who have been Bullied and Harassed out of their jobs, simply because they couldn't handle the increased workload.

Most never even received a, "Thank You and Goodbye" Speech from the DIM. What a bunch of w*****s! It's not like they're just some casual that's been there for six months. I would have thought the local HR manager would have gone ballistic! But let's get real, this is ROYAL FAIL!

My father done 46 years loyal service for this sh*t company, nearly got sacked because he was framed by a nasty, vindictive DIM!!!
Said to the DIM on retirement that he wanted no fuss, and thats what he got!! apart from some stuff handed over to him on the quiet, the so
called colleagues didnt do f**k all for him not even a card!!!

Something doesn't quite add up if he moved to Newquay in 1961 with his first wife??????? He was born the same year as me which would make him 15 at the time - and he had been a telegram boy in London before that!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe he just looked old for his age.

I took VR last year after 35 years. On my last day I walked out of the office on delivery as usual and the only thing different was that I never went back. But to be honest i wasn't expecting anything else.
