how many duties do you absorb???

interested in how many duties each office is asked to absorb....at the moment we do 6 most days but going upto 12 very shortly.....about 140 duties in office

We used to absorb upto 6 but since out table top revision we now absorb NONE

However some are getting finished way too early (11.30am) so i cant see that lasting. For me i have a 4hr - 4hr 30 min trolley duty so my absorbtion days are gone

and me if we absorb to our time mon tue etc the question we put to mgmt was what happens fri sat when were busy

Amazing that people are still finishing so early, arses like them making the job a shitload harder for the rest of us.

Absorb, yes we do, book overtime or leave in. Of course feckless managers try and bully everyone into taking it claiming "figures say ..." or "mail volume is down" blah etc bullshit etc..

Union rep is about as useful as a day off for a royal wedding.
