holiday pay/contract hours changed

hi all, as like many offices we have gone through a re pick which finished around a month or so ago.. i went from part time 30 hours to full time 39 hours,

since i had my pick i have been doing my 39 hours plus the odd hour or two on o/t... my wages hae still been 30 hours but with 9 hours overtime being added every week.. ive just had 2 weeks off on annual leave and all i have been payed is the basic 30 hours

what can i do? where do i stand?

surely your manager should have given you written evidence of being contracted to 39 hours . in my office we have 30 hours contracts made up to 39 hours but like yourself 9 of these hours are overtime and when we have our park and loop revision they will no doubt be dropped back down to 30 hours our manager has promised full time hours but has yet to give it in writing so get it in writing as wages still think you are 30 hours being paid 9 hours overtime .

well i choose full time and have been doing the full time hours, and my name on the rotor states im doing full time, ?ive been off for two weeks so its alot of money to be missing

take it up with your manager and rep and demand to know why your wages still state 30 hours and 9 hours overtime and ask to be reimbursed your holiday pay like you say it is a lot of money to lose and dont let it go on if you dont get any joy tell your rep you want to take it higher and good luck

weve got part timers doing that full time hours they got 2 hrs overtime everyday but when on leave no overtime

What you need is a spec event contract, they are for twelve weeks and should be renewed if the works there after that. I doubt that anyone will get a perment contract in this climate.

Have you seen this full-time contract?
Is it temporary or permanent?
Have you been taken for a mug by a bullshitting manager crezz?

i have seen no form of a new contract yet, will it be sent to me? there are perhaps 10 of us that have been made up to full time now, and as previously said, im on the rotor as a full time employee, its been quite frustrating the last month or two as they havent changed my door2door supplement either, which means i have been £5 short every week for the last two months.

how do i go about sorting this?

what can and cant they do?

if they still havent changed my contract, can i choose on a daily basis wether is i want to work a full time day or a part time day? because as it stands, it seems they havent changed the contrat which is rather

i do believe fishtank is a rep, im sure most would take a pay cut to have him in their office.

It certainly looks like you have been made up to full-time hours without a change in contact to go with it...that is why HR still see you as part-time and are paying you part-time holiday pay and delivery supplement.
There are two possible reasons for this...
1) An accidental oversight by either your manager or HR.
2) A deliberate oversight by your manager to keep any changes temporary until the PIR is complete...in case he has to withdraw the offer of a full-time contract.
As soon as you get back to work grab your rep and go see your manager for an explanation.

well spoke to my dom, he had said he had forward the changes to contracts, but his boss refused to start with but had accepted that they needed more full time stuff so agreed for contract change, which wont start untill im back to work, so basically its adios machachos to my money, how splended 18hours pay down the pan wooo!

you should have expected this with 9hrs ot every week the best you can do is see union rep and get the dim to put in 18 hrs ot when you return to work
