CWU Accounts 2010
Please find attached the CWU Accounts for 2010. We are now able to publish these accounts following their full and detailed audit by our professional auditors Chantrey Vellacott DFK (please note that the accounts are exclusive of Branch accounts).
Branches are now invited to submit any questions against the accounts. Questions must be addressed to the Senior Deputy General Secretary and received by no later than 17.00 on the 10th May 2011. Questions may be sent by e-mail but must be addressed to sdgs@cwu.org. (Emails sent to any other email address may not be picked up in time to be answered within the appropriate timescale).
Responses to questions will be circulated to Branches in advance of CWU Annual Conference 2011.
The final accounts, including all Branch accounts, will be forwarded by e-mail to all Branches as soon as they are available.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

One of the most frightening statistics buried in amongst this apart from the reduction in members and revenue is the reduction in cash at the bank from £5.1million to £2.5million. 
Where has the other £2.5mill gone?
Oh...and Tony Kearns has paid his Mortgage off....and Andy Kerr has taken one out...
Oh and one more thing Royal Mail skimmed £388,895 of our members money off the top just for paying our subs through our wages...
