are walks supposed to get lighter as the walks goes on?

or is that just some royal mail fantasy rule like alot of other things, 30 minsbreaks,1/6th d2d, come in tie up leave... etc

my last bag is actualy alot heavier than my first and my first bags a fking beast

i dont want to be told go see rep bcos there is no such thing in my office

cant ask manager bcos i know not a dam thing will be done

just wondering mainly what the hell is going on and what is the actual reason for bags supposed to get lighter

If your bags are too heavy then brake them down and make more bags. If this means the round takes you longer so you have to pouch off then so be it, I dont understand what you are moaning about? Royal Mail and the CWU have an agreement that bags are to get lighter as the delivery goes on so if you make heavy bags then thats your fault no one elses you're the one who makes the bags up.

Found this out the other day the managers can no longer tell you to pull out mail as you go round if cannot complete delivery, the Royal Mail rule is you should not take out Mail you cannot deliver you must leave it in the Frame
We voted against our Revision 40 - 10 50 out of just over 100 bothered
Will wait and see what happens next they were trying to bring in new duties before the machines can deliver 100% walk sequencing , they did tell us there was no hurry to bring it in mind you i bet there was a bouns for the managers if they did

Might not always be the heaviest - but the last bag is invariably the most awkward - especially on walks you've never done before ... loads of packets and sign-fors (and subsequent P739 "delays", odd "hidden houses", odd "hidden streets", and silly bits that have been tacked on to the end with extra dead walking ... just when you're getting knackered ...
