Time scales on conduct

Post by gman »

I had a previous post regarding a manager who is trying his upmost to get me sacked to cut a long story short.... In a nutshell he said he felt harassed because I asked for help to which he refused several times on a Saturday... As I'm over my time every day but Saturday I can't work over

So I put a grievance in, so in response he put a conduct case forward saying I was harrassin him for help I didn't need.

It's now 37 days and I haven't had a second letter regarding this?? Is there a timescale where as this charge can be thrown out???

there is a timescale for both the grievance and the conduct issue.

i would get union advice asap if i were you.

if you're saying the conduct issue was as a result of the grievance...you should also put in a bullying and harassment claim, if what you say is a fact.

I had a manager who was giving out overtime like confetti...most were happy and didn't want to upset the status qou of the office...i wasn't getting any overtime..fellow workers were getting overtime while i was still working normal hours..what i did was forced the union to act on my part..it wasn't easy but sometimes you need more then just you to fight the fight.

overall you have shown felxablityin working all week and explained how saturdays you cannot. conduct should be dealt with in a timely manner and if any delays must be explained in writting. any IT hearing would throw this case out if your dim processes it all the way. have a 1 2 1 with area dsm and make thast dim look a twat.
