When we were last on strike there were a number of posts that appeared on newspaper websites, I am of the opinion that they were bogus.Large companies have been known to hire Union busting firms as used in the States.It would be naive to think that they are not used in this country.The Labour party I believe has a media propaganda department that rings up tv stations and radios pretending to be Joe Public to spin the debate.
Whether such a company is operating on here , who knows.As for managers I would imagine the postal scales must be lifting ...

Just my opinion BT,but No.
I do however think that the gulf between full-time/part-time has never been greater.
In-fact,when you look at what they expect part-timers to do within their contractual hours,i'm not even certain it is achievable(and thats putting it politely)
In our D.O. we even had a night shift who didn't even know most of the AG'S because they'd never even met them.
The cuts have gone too far in my opinion,even when the full-time staff try and clear stack and prep a walk,it's still not working.
The nature of the beast is unfortunately to blame each other,not the management.

What happens to everyone when RM is sold , for every FT that leaves etc.. etc.. they are replaced by PT cant you see that they are setting up a business plan,whoever buys RM which they will, will have there own workforce.. its easier to offload PT(no contract) than FT, FT u will be rubbing your hands together in 18 mnths..
