PLO1/PL04 Message on payslip

Received my payslip this morning, new message on bottom reads:
NEW DEDUCTION PLO1 TAKEN FROM 18/04/11.

Rang up HR they state it's to do with CWU subs.

I'm a 32hr contract and had been paying £1.90p/week, now it's £3.11p!!
Is this correct??

think ive bin ripped off with election payment ,does last saturdays get paid today or next week?

Got my wage slip this morning,CWU subscriptions are the same but noticed that my income tax had reduced by 20p.Never do OT so get the same amount on pay slip every week.

If the Union have informed them correctly of your subscription rate then yes:

Is Plan 01 - Type O which is £3.11

I have the same message but no increase in subs have you recently been made up in hours as well.

I handed mine in on a Saturday and had to wait till next but one pay day for it to be shown.

Just went a bit deeper Plan 01 is over 30 hours for RM staff so they are charging you right now, £1.90 is Plan 4 which is 20 - 25 Hours.

same here how do i cancell cwu subs, and will the rep at our place find out and start treating me like a scab lol.

I was paying £1.64 before and I'm now paying £1.80.

From that LTB:

With inflation running at over 4% the NEC determined that we should keep our core rates to a 3% increase to recognise the financial pressures members are under.

Unless my maths is wrong, £1.64 rising to £1.80 is an increase of over 9.75% not 3% and that's in a basic week with no OT.

Makes me wonder what the unions view would be if RM were to use the "given the financial situation... " argument to take more money from us.

New on me this one, is it a CWU increase or something even more sinister.

EDIT: Ok, looks like billy ran out of pies. Its a CWU increase to counter act the wonderful pay-rise they fought for us.

You can lock this thread now, or lock me up, I am obviously nuts if I keep paying this.

Just wondering i pulled out of political levy but on my payslip it reads £ 3.11 for cwu contribution , is this the right payment.
