A couple weeks ago, i left someone a package hidden in their recycling box. I left a card saying where it was.
Yet today i found out that, they never got the package. Thus it must have been stolen by someone.
I'm assuming i'll take the blame for this...will I be sacked? :/

Have you admitted to doing it?
There really is no answer to this as RM are desperate to get rid of staff at the moment. That may well go against you. Still, if they were going down that route they would suspend you first. Have you been out on a delivery since they pulled you aside (did they tell you when you got back today?) You could well argue that if they did not trust you enough to employ you any longer then they should not have sent you out today.
Have you been ordered to attend a fact finding interview? Have you had sufficient training?
Personally, at the most, you should get a one year serious warning but this is just my opinion. A good manager would dress you down and get serious if it happened again after that.

Also it seems odd that you only found out today if it happened a few weeks ago. Was the customer on holiday?

They just rang me to tell me what happened and said they would discuss it more tomorrow as i'd left for home. I said on the phone what i'd done.
It was at least a week ago so i'm assuming they were on holiday..

Personally speaking (or typing) I would say the sack would he harsh and you should be ok. Do not overly panic just yet.

It would actually be a good sign if they bothered to conduct him...it would mean they planned to keep him.

Hi mark,i had the same situ about 2 weeks ago, they were on holiday when the bin men called,i got called into the office and told not to do it again end of, and im a proverbaly pain in the arse to the company.

In your favour could be that you're part-time, as RM are generally looking to lose full-timers at the moment. Definitely a plus if you drive, and doubly so if you use your own car. It does cost them a fair bit to train someone, so you'll probably be alright.
I've been here a year, and in the first few months, used to leave packets in bins etc. Never do now, unless the customer has explicitly asked me too, and even then, with a slightly squeaky bum.
