Thank God I'm off today! All these 'big meetings' and 'big announcements' are getting too much for me! Now, let's start guessing what this meeting is about!

My fault I ignored the bailiffs letter, still I don't think 100 Top Shelf magazines is enough reason to lock yourself in, as a protest.

The only 'big' meeting going on that I care about was mine today at my grievance meeting against the DOM.

She is following a policy of blaming any non completing of delivery and ext dly claims on us being too slow. She did mine by selective counting. ie not counting most of it.

It's just simply bad management and the Area Rep argued the case of only 1 min prep tests allowed etc, yet within an hour of the meeting she was telling my colleague that she would be counting his mail tomorrow and will start on counting everybodys.

I think this may be different to actually prep testing, but unless you counted the mail on each individual walk on the same day, then I can't see how it can be accurate, also I believe that whatever figure she gets she will manipulate it so that it will look bad on the people like me who stand up to her bullying.

We shall see what happens tomorrow.

The point is they can do whatever ridiculous,nonsensical,unreliable,made up test they like...it's their time they are wasting after all.
But they cannot do a thing with the figures these tests produce....they are simply a bullying tool.
The most important thing is to make members aware just how pointless these tests are,therefore completely rendering the test and bullying ineffectual....even laughable.
Once management realise they are not having the desired effect...they will disappear.
Knowledge in this case...is certainly power.

more meetings, management talking about its all doom and gloom for the postie, but not the management,,, need to cut jobs, sack people..... you know i'm that racked off with it all,,, ROYAL MAIL just lay off all of delivery staff,, get rid of delivery cause thats what your trying to do... then ROYAL MAIL might make some money to keep top management in big wages and bonuses...................
