Door To Doors over Easter/Wedding / Bank Holiday.

I see there is a lot of Bank holidays coming up between now and May so what happens the door to doors, for instance I’m off Thursday this week and Friday is Good Friday, so on Saturday RM will wants me to play catch up, is this right only our Union rep says we are supposed to catch up, but on the other hand it was agreed 6% a day.
If I’m not in on a bank holiday they don’t get done that simple as that.

slotted all 3 lots in for 75% of delivery yesterday (saturday)managed to get finished on delivery early
hopefully day off cover man will take some more on tuesday and then just mop the rest up weds and thurs
but if things turn bad i'll be bringing packets back at 2.10 all week

That would preseumably mean his Thursday relief would be delivering none yet still get the delivery supplement, the agreement break it down into sixths as a minimum - so he would deliver 20% for his four days and his relief would deliver 20% for his duty relief over 5 days. Or am I tilting at windmills again.

I think you mean 1/6 th per day. This was the amount agreed by RM and Cwu so dont argue just do your 1/6 th per day let your manager do the math

Let all the early starters, runners and car users do the extra, just start on time, finish on time,take your breaks, and just do the 1/6th that you are supposed to do.

4 working days on the week of the wedding (counting Saturday) means 25% per day will have to be done. However some people`s day off will fall on one of the bank holidays, like mine does. This means some have to do all the DTD for that week themselves.(ie effectively no day off). Thats on top of all the shite that they will push out each of the days we are in. This crap sucks!

Sorry dv i assumed that he was taking about w/c 25th April with Easter Monday and that wedding thing which leaves four delivery days.
To be honest i don't see what the problem with 20%,25% or 33%...if you are prepared to work your hours.
More indoor work means less outdoor work for me.

More indoor work is the absolute key ft - and that I feel is where most offices who have undergone DM via georoute have been short changed - we now have evryone on IPS to clear it even though many of those duties have been double prepping.......well are still double prepping and IPS'ing now and that causes problems for OT booking which is now frowned upon, well it's a bit more than a frown
