working day options ?

in our small office we are going through a mini revision,i could be moving up to full time but not sure yet,i just want to know all the options there will be on the the working week etc,for example 9 day fornights,4 day weeks etc,has somebody out there got a list of these options,on a personnal note i hate hate hate working saturdays,ive got a young family and enjoy my sports,working saturday ruins this.finally will all the office have to agree on the best option,or will it be down to individual preference,thanks.

ours was off tue1st wk off wed nxt week then sat,sun,mon,off then start again. thats for full timers

If only someone had told RM that a few years back. Their obsession with making people work their hours, changing the working day, changing the methods of delivery, has cost them £millions and damaged the postal service beyond repair.

Weve got rotating rest day and. nine days fortnights....Dim told me today in October we will all be back to a 5 day rotate or loose extra duties and all be on 9 day fortnight.......In his dream.

9 day fortnights are great every 4 weeks we have fri,sat,sun mon off cant beat it.But offices that are told there will be no shift changes need to read the agreement as it says that 1 saturday off in 4 is the minimum if the workers want it,so its up to you guys to make sure you get it if you want it.

Full timers in my office get 1 in 3 off, part timers get 0 in 3 off...............now there is an equitable solution, at least in the winners and losers scenario.
