What should my pay be for 32 hours (buying 6 weeks leave)
As from april I've started buying 6 weeks leave and with the recent tax & Ni contributions also changing, I haven't got a clue what my pay should be.
Did we have our 1.4% pay rise in april?

How many weeks are you actually buying because I thought 6 weeks is the max you can buy up to from your standard leave?

sorry, to clarify i'm buying 6.5 days extra to take me from my basic entitlement of 23.5 to 30 days (6 weeks) leave.

You can't buy .5 can you? The .5 evens its self out every other year.

I think this is right -
Current weekly gross / 5 = 1 days pay
Multiple that by the number you've brought, divide by 52 and subtract that from your Current Weekly gross to get your New Weekly gross.
That, or wait a week.

Without deductions and assuming you are on the new national pay rate and your office is still on a 40hr week your gross pay would be £287.62 and your delivery supplement would be £16.71 for 32hrs.
Therefore the total cost in basic pay to purchase 6.5 days would be £373.90 spread over 52 weeks this would be a deduction of £7.19 weekly from gross pay leaving you with £280.43 basic.
There would also be a deduction of £21.72 from your delivery supplement over 52 weeks or £0.42 which would leave you with a delivery supplement of £16.29
These figures may be a few pence out for rounding up or down purposes.

you cant buy six weeks leave cause you already get 4 weeks and 3 days so you buy one week and 2 days
