I checked the rota today to see what duty I'm on next week and my day off. Surprise, surprise I've been given Good Friday off even though the duty I'm covering has a fixed Saturday.....banged a grievence in...cheeky fookers! :no no

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

My day off should have friday but I've got tuesday instead. Yippee, two days off.
Just spilt stain-remover down my shirt. Now how do I get that out?

Ours has usually been up by the previous Wednesday of late, which is good, as it gives me a chance to have a quick gander at the fitting I'm on next week, and also to have a quick look at a map before I get in on the Monday. My day off isn't Good Friday next week either, so I'm pretty chuffed to have a solid, four-day week.

ours are up 3 weeks in advance , but thats because the the guy in the cage does the duties ,because the dim cant be botherd . when he did them it was on the saturday before the monday :nana :nana

I got Good Friday off an all - but tbf it is the rota'd day off for the duty I'm on.....still, if I'm on the same duty the week after, I got a garra'd Sat off after the wedding ( just a shame I booked it as A/L when the wedding day was announced :d'oh! )
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

I'll just wait to get the day back next year - especially as I could get surprised and dumped elsewhere for that week ( we've been struggling to cover all duties of late, lots of bods on light duties )
