The following days should be treated as Bank Holidays, thus excluding them from the Universal Service Obligation:

Good Friday

Easter Monday

Royal Wedding Day

May Day Holiday

As a result of the above normal bank holiday credits will apply, i.e, if any of these days coincide with your rest day or a day off due to annual leave you will be credited with a day in lieu.

Don't worry how much they throw at you on SAT. you know your start time & you know your finish time!

Cut off and deal with it on Monday, or roll it over to Tuesday, or Wed....or Thurs... :Very Happy

I've heard you don't get the day back. RM are classing it as a non service day rather than a bank holiday.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Dear Colleagues,

Following a number of enquiries received in CWU HQ in the last couple of days, we have spoken to Royal Mail today and confirmed the following:

The following days should be treated as Bank Holidays, thus excluding them from the Universal Service Obligation:

Good Friday

Easter Monday

Royal Wedding Day

May Day Holiday

As a result of the above normal bank holiday credits will apply, i.e, if any of these days coincide with your rest day or a day off due to annual leave you will be credited with a day in lieu.

If any Branches experience difficulties in this regard, local management should be encouraged to contact Dale Lang at Royal Mail HQ.
