Always get the police to attend the scene of an accident. When calling mention you believe the other drivers has been drinking and they attend in a flash. :Very Happy

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT USEFUL INFORMATION

Employee Details:
Employees name, badge number and duty, date, time, location and type of vehicle.

Third Party Details:
Name and address, name of insurance cover, vehicle make and model, registration number, witness name and address.

If the Police are involved:
Name and number.

Make a sketch of the scene of the accident.

Ask them how you got his details and business card if he wasn't in the area.
I staged a Roger Moore impersonator festival in my local village. There were a lot of eyebrows raised, I can tell you.

If you took a picture with your phone,go to the details menu of your photo album and it should give date and time,if its a "smart phone"it may even give the location,the iphone 4 has the option for this!!!!

Yep , photo has time and date tag but no geo tag. To be honest i think some grunt has had the RTA in the companies van and just given the bosses name and taken the van back to base and not said anything to the boss. Not sure how i stand on my claim or if i'll get a payment if the driver can't be traced or proved to be driving. The hire company haven't been on the phone yet though about no payment for damage
