Did anyone catch the piece about doing away with bikes on the Politics show this Sunday?
Fairly balanced I thought but can't help feeling that CWU didn't come across that well only problem was that postman were taking longer to do the job??????

I agree it was an interesting article, from the public's point of view, and at least they didn't have a Trained Bullshit Artist from RM spouting off. I think the CWU could have made a better impression, but at least they were asked!

When we were trained we were told you can push or pull them. I personally do both throughout the day. I think alternating helps not put excessive stress on shoulder or back. For example if I pull it into someones driveway when I walk back out I push it on to the next house. The CWU area reps 'live' upstairs in our office. It goes without saying that they are on permanent release and have not actually done a delivery in living memory.
