Shame your manager (no names or locations please)

Simple as. What pisses you of about your boss. Come to realise that out of work he would properly be a descent guy but as a manager i just dont get the guy.

1 Has at least 8 weeks a year of a/l. But that isnt enough. Has at least a month off a year through sickies.

2 Holiday sheet. April 6th and still not received holiday sheet to book holidays for this year.

3 6am start. Sneaks in door at half past. Closes door slowly so it doesn't make a noise so he can get to his office without anyone harassing him. Some days close to tip toeing! Funny to watch.

4 Excellent at fobbing you off. "will get back to you" or "come back later" or the best one "leave me with it"

5 Month of December. Stand in boss does his work. He spends his time in the canteen buttering rolls and cooking the sausages.

6 Calls his arse lickers into the office to read or watch his rude jokes hes had emailed from his mates or other managers from other offices.

7 No work started on any revisions. All office frames out of date.

This is all from the top of my head. Anyone else have muppets like this for a manager?

our managers only have time for them selves they could get rid of some and save some money cuz they do jack s..t, strutt round like they own the place, and are bullies.

Our DOM fast tracked due to knocking off the previous DOM. He brought her with him from another office which was her first experience within RM and at our place they were always having lunch together while we were out working.

She is now the DOM and he has gone to another office, but she hasn't a clue about the job, talks to us like were something the cat's dragged in and has no common sense at all. It is like having nasty little Robot in charge.

She also gets stressed really quickly, refuses 99% of any requests, including Funerals, Hospital Appointments etc.

Basically a truly horrible person and although we have had a few awful DOM' s in the 18 years I have been in RM, this is the worst.

Ive had the good luck to have had a good manager when i first started .

He left and the next one is probably imho slightly better . Had a wee run in with him not long ago but since then its NEVER been better .

So praise where praise is due guys .
