Few of our guys did use the Cycle to Work system, but...
Most other businesses, companies go up to £999 But, RM only doing around £450 to my knowledge.
( Apologies if I'm wrong.)
Some bike companies are doing "specials", ie, putting together really nice bikes for the £999 price range, with better value for money.
Obviously RM buyers - if the £450 is the RM limit - won't be able to access these offers.
Pity...

I actually went throught the cycle2work.net link and applied for the £500 voucher about a month ago. Never heard anything back from either party involved.

it might be the email went into your spam folder this happened to a lad at work - turned out he was approved and he got his bike the next day

for me,a higher limit eg £1000 and a shorter repayment period eg 6 months would clinch it
whilst £500 gets an okay bike, i want a decent quality bike and even better would be the option not to use Halfords

yes they still do it got my letter back the other day ...i thought they may of scrapped it as they have took everything else from us but get in fast... just google cycle to work it will take you to halfords website

I bet my £1K bike would cost a lot less than some others less healthy vices

On the website regarding cycle2work scheme, noticed this :
"Cycle2work is a part of our ongoing benefits programme to bring you great schemes and offers. It is also a great option for a healthier lifestyle and an alternative way to commute to work. Royal Mail Group are also supportive of a green transport plan and a wider environmental business plan,which is one of our key objectives"
Its a bit hypocritical of them to tell us how good they are of thei green business plan when we are having our bikes scrapped at our delivery office next month to have 68 vans polluting the roads instead!
