Are Divisional Reps elected or selected for their posts?
If elected, how often do they come up for re-eelction and does the election occur at a certain time in the year?
Finally Area Reps. I know they get elected, but again, how often does reelection take place and when?
Thanks.

Div reps are elected
Div reps are elected. Should be every 2 years by membership vote. Royal Mail have told the union that if they hold a div rep election at the moment then while the election is taking place they will remove div reps from ir framework and not recognise the election winner. This is why the CWU haven't had div rep elections for a while but a motion was passed at this years conference to challenge RM on this and then hold elections asap
Area reps are elected every 1/2 years depending on your branched rules. Every year down here
