Drivers money

Heard alot of people at my place get drivers money everyweek,just for driving vans,I think it's because of grandfathers rights,but wondering when did they stop new people getting the drivers money?

It is £6 per week and you had to be driving for RM before 31st Jan 2000 in order to get it - this is from the Way Forward Agreement.

Your local rep and manager and yes you should get it backdated if you are entitled to the allowance.Good luck.

only if you have held a driving duty since then if you went on a walking duty on a resign and there was a driving duty left then you would not get it i think thats how it goes

think you have 2 b on a driving duty! I have been driving since b4 then and i dont get the allowence!

If you were on a driving duty before the time mentioned then you should get the allowance,you will continue to get the allowance unless you volunteered (signed for a walk) to come off driving.
If you lost your driving duty due to a resign (kicked off)then you keep the allowance for 3 years.
