Part-timers over full-timers!!!

Can any one explain to me how a repick works in favour of part-timers over full-timers!!.. Were having a repick in are office and there stopping at 66 giving part-timers a walk then using full-timers as floaters!!!... So my 7 - 8 years count as bugger all... How's that work then!!???

P&L makes this happen,full timers being reserves.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I thought it was the stance?
The guidelines only state that it would be better for operational reasons if all your cover and leave reserves are drivers and i get the reasons behind that but full-timers vs part-timers...what does it matter?
Especially if your part-timers are working a 3X8hr pattern or something similar.
