Mail Always brought back

Just wondering where i stand on this? I am a floater and one this one run i do always has alot of mail brought back on it (20-40 delivery points) Per day. Its all the big lanes and awkward ones etc, it really f***** me off as im always clearing it up when im on it, as i can do the run in the alloted time no probs. The run was shortened down a couple of years back and was tested regulary and its the correct delivery span, before the run was shortened down the same amount of delivery points were brought back and not delivered as there is now.
So too clarify the duty holder is bringing as much mail back now as he was before the run was shortned! Its a joke, there is no more new houses etc he is looking to lose more of the duty and be a lazy f***.
But overall its me who pays for this once a week, going to houses where i wouldnt normally go if it was a normal day! What should be done about this? Management seem to ignore it!

If you can do it in your hours then tough.

If the other guy can't do it in his hours then tough.

Maybe he has got slower since the walk was cut back?

Maybe the indoor workload has changed?

It's not black and white - in fact, the only thing that is is your CONTRACTED HOURS.

I don't understand why you're making it a question of you against him, whether he's lazy or not.

It's not your problem, you're not paid to micro-manage a walk.

If it's creating a problem for you, then it's a MANAGEMENT problem.

you could just bring back 10 delivery point as that would mean you are bring less back then the regular just take your time or you could just get on with it

Sorry but thats bollox! Im not slagging them off im just saying it as it is! If im going to slag anyone it will be the managers for not sorting the run out, it will not gain any more calls as the run was tested and found to be ok now!

1 - NOBODY likes a grass !!
2- maybe the bloke just cant complete ( in which case he needs to speak to rep )
3- there could be a reason i.e. dog loose ,hazards etc
4-he has proberbly told a manager and recieved the usual shrugg of shoulders reply !
5-finally just ask him !!!! the chances are there is a REAL reason and if hes been in the job over 10 years or more im sure he is a good trusted postie and doing his job well ! ( whats left of it )
