ITS OK TO LEAVE WHOLE DUTIES AT GREAT YARMOUTH

Last few weeks of the finacial year and the usual overtime ban but something else i have never seen...? Managers now find it acceptable to leave whole duties without even trying to get them covered. An 8hr duty will only say 7or6 on the board nothing unusual but usually if they have no takers they would pleed and beg to get it covered but now nothing and word from the Dom if it isnt signed for will stay in the office...! Constant manager moaning of how bad Yarmouth is with complaints and then they have the cheek to do this. May i suggest looking at Great Yarmouth for the start of the Manager Cul...!

not on a friday they just leave it for you on a saturday to make sure you work to your time (willful delay if you did it)

It's willful delay for them as well if they are not recording the failure.

kilwinning in ayrshire fails every day they do p+l but take out one half of duty then other half next day
this is sanctioned by local mgmt who seem to think this practise is acceptable union know this happens

Makes me laugh we bring anything back and they jump down our throats but they leave a whole duty and nothing is said one rule for them and another for us.! Why do royal mail continue to show So little respect for its workers and its customers no wonder the company is going down the drain thank god not long to retirement..!

we had this going on in our office Jan and feb....happened to me 3 times,,,i dont work me day off,,,i wanna be home,,,so each day off i had i came in the next day to a full fitting,,,it was flagged up to our branch/area rep and nothing was done,,,it wasnt just myself,,,out of an office with approx 40 walks,,,we were having 5 left in each day,,,,,some of the lads were scared to have a day off LOL.....i chose to take 6 hors overtime,,,and stay of the primary so to get the walk in,,,,,suited me although i gotta agree that was wrong and i should have worked me time BUT i would be the only 1 making a stand so i took the money.
last few weeks theyve took on 6 part time staff...LOL 2 left in the 1st week...
what they did in our office just b4 xmas was to give you 2 hrs overtime just to take out a street of an uncovered walk,,,lets say 20 houses just so on paper the walk had been attempted LOL

No the revision has been rejected after a union vote but to be honest without being a pessimist its gonna fail because there are So many factors that have been overlooked or not bothered to address them I mean you could have had the same revision plan done better by a chimp at a desk with colouring pens lol ps we arnt allowed to book pressure at the moment its thin out and bring back lol
