i was chatting with a guy a few weeks (or was it months ago now ) that mentioned that while most RM staff have had the uniform casualised over the last 10-15 years to a fleece etc instead of actual jackets ... that Royal Mail staff that work at the delivery/sorting/dispatch office at Buckingham Palace still retain a more formal uniform...
i was wondering if anyone on here knows how formal is formal... i mean are they still wearing shirt, tie and proper jacket style uniforms or what... especially with the "new" uniform being even more casual than the "blue" uniforms
One of the guys in our place has been mithering for a new fleece for ages without success, so he went rumaging in a cloak room upstairs and found a very old formal RM blazer complete with brass buttons, which he now instists on wearing all the time, looks hilarious.
