extra saturdays off

anybody managed to get one in 4 saturdays off if so what are your hours for rest of weeks thanks

i am getting less saturdays off.................table top revision lost my duty now doing different duty every day and different days off, when i complain they say wait till resign next month, that does so all for my sats off

what hours do you work the other days we have been told we may have to work longer on the saturdays we are in

We are just going through the final stages of drawing up new duty structures and a new shift pattern for full time staff that will provide a 39hr a week and 1 in 4 Saturdays off . This is scheduled to be introduced in May . It looks like we might be working a nine day fortnight , which works something like below .

week 1 , you work Mon, Tues, Fri and Sat =34.5 hrs
week2 , you work , Mon ,Wed , Thurs , Fri and Sat = 43.75 hrs
week 3 , you work Mon ,Tues ,Wed, Thurs = 34.5 hrs
Week 4 , you work Tues , Wed ,Thurs , Fri and Sat = 43.25 hrs

You work 156 hrs over 4 weeks . In joint management , planner and union presentation it was put forward to the office staff and it seems to have gone down quite well . If the planner can get it to fit into the office work plan I think this is the way we will be working in May . . On week 3 you get Fri and Sat off and week 4 you get the Mon off , so every 4 weeks you get a long weekend . There are other shift pattern options but this one seems to be the most popular

we tried to work that and the rounds end up being over five hours long so did not go though with it same as the four day week that came in at over six hours long and i am f##### at 4 1/2 hours
