Cars after revisions

Hi our office will be under going a table top revision in the next few monnths, no p&l!! Question is will cars on delivery be banned even though it's not a p&l revision? Heard they were removing the insurance bond so unsure? Also will the office receive the full revision bonus? Many thanks.

The agreement states that the use of private cars will cease on the implementation of a Delivery Methods revision.
Will the office receive the full revision bonus?
It shouldn't but the goalposts are moving on a daily basis so you never know....

plenty using cars in our office! we aint had a full revision, only on of these mini (no bonus) ones but it hasn't made any difference to those that use their cars. In fact when we got the census forms, those people that use their cars were helping those who got hammered by taking the forms off them and delivering them in their own cars! the mind boggles!

A revision based on a change in delivery methods away from pouch and bike to HCT and park&loop.

The agreement states that the use of private cars will cease on the implementation of a Delivery Methods revision.

That doesn't however stop the rep from pushing for a ban on PCOD to accompany the table top revision.
There is an awful lot of talk about maintaining the office EP, but if cars on delivery are giving a false EP, removing them is actually in the best interests of Union and Management.

This pains me to write

We have had our table top revision which was agreed by all that cars would no longer be used.

However the first to back down was the dom as she was told she could not conduct anyone for using a car. Worse still our rep has told the whole office that he has no problem with folks using their cars

So the situation at present is a few (me included) are working correctly using a HCT and bikes and mostly finishing around 13.20-13.45 and the car users are back about 11.30 -12.20

Its going to get interesting when flexing / absorbtion makes a come back in a couple of months as ive no time to do any

Just to show you how silly it become i watched one postman start off delivering to shops using a trolley, then change to a bike to deliver to flats and finally jump in his car to delivery to a street of houses

This Procedure is discretionary and may be withdrawn by Royal Mail at any time without notice and for any reason without explanation
