Could anyone let me know if any VR's have actually been offered in D.O.s, or indeed has there been any sign of commitment to do so.
The communication is poor at best, we are in week four of sixteen in the planning process, about to sign off phase three.

the E.V.R plans are not set in stone in any office, because we have to look ook to accomodate people displaced in other areas.
that's why we have the MTSF agreement and the no compulsory agreement.
both agreed with the business and the cwu, to maximise gainful employment for as many members (and non-members) as possible, for as long as possible, with the maximum employment benefits possible.

since you are not in the cwu, you could always go for the lesser financed option - the TMA.
Termination with mutual agreement. apparently the severence amounts are not as much as the E.V.R, but that's what you get when you think you can negotiate on an individual basis (i'm alright jack!)

In our office 2 got VR dates, but we have taken on quite a few casuals and one turned up to date on a zero hour contract, they just ring up the person when wanted, how can you live like that not knowing if you are going to get called in.
